Role overview
Supports the release of modernization elevator projects for manufacturing.
Coordinates with Sales, Field Operations, Engineering, and Factory teams to facilitate accurate and timely order releases.
Key responsibilities
- Review modernization elevator projects and prepare them for Release for Manufacturing (RFM).
- Verify technical specifications, layouts, and configurations for compliance with customer requirements and company standards.
- Resolve technical and commercial issues with cross-functional teams and monitor RFM milestones.
- Track project documentation, deviations, approvals, and design changes.
- Clarify project requirements for factory teams; identify risks and manufacturing issues and drive corrective actions.
- Maintain stakeholder communication to support project execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- At least 3 years of elevator-industry experience; modernization, engineering, manufacturing, or project coordination experience is preferred.
- Good understanding of elevator systems, components, layouts, and installation requirements.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and engineering documents.
Skills and preferred qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD to review and modify elevator layouts and engineering drawings.
- Strong organizational, time-management, project coordination, communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Experience with elevator modernization projects and manufacturing release processes is preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP, order management, or engineering management systems is preferred; knowledge of industry standards and elevator codes is advantageous.
