Role Overview

Academic Qualification and Experience

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Construction Management.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in design.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in BIM implementation on major projects or programs.
• Experience working with a consultant.
• Proficient in BIM authoring and proprietary software such as Revit, Civil 3D, AECOSIM, Navisworks, VICO, Cost X, Synchro, BIM 360 Glue/Field or similar applications.
• Middle East/Gulf Countries experience preferred but not essential.

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications

• Possess excellent English written skills.
• Possess excellent oral communication skills with ability to form effective relationships with project delivery, client, and contractor under time pressure.
• Possess the ability to write letters, technical instructions, and develop analytical reports and presentations.

Major Responsibilities

• Responsible for effective implementation and compliant adoption of BIM standards, processes, and protocols at organizational and project level.
• Provide progress and performance updates on a fortnightly and monthly basis to clients and leads.
• Issue and respond to all formal correspondences related to BIM activities.
• Plan, manage, and document workshops and meetings.
• Evaluate and manage deployment of hardware and software and provide hands-on BIM software training for projects.
• Support setup, development, configuration, and establishment of the Common Data Environment (CDE) for project use.
• Manage and support object creation and maintain libraries according to project and stage needs.
• Develop and enforce BIM documentation and workflow process standards.
• Develop BIM specification documentation and support integration with tenders and contracts.
• Develop, manage, monitor, coordinate, and report on the Post-contract BIM Execution Plan, TIDP, and MIDP.
• Manage, support, and validate project design delivery including modeling, detailing, scheduling, and extraction.
• Manage and ensure Project Information Models are delivered in accordance with the agreed TIDP, MIDP, and CDE protocol.
