Role Overview

Eaton is seeking a Technical Support and Application Engineer for its Emergency Lighting team in the Middle East.

The role provides technical support, troubleshooting, and solutions to customers and internal teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide technical support and expertise for emergency lighting products and solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to emergency lighting systems.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and technical presentations.
  • Collaborate with sales to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions.
  • Assist with technical documentation, including manuals, guides, and FAQs.
  • Stay current with industry trends, product developments, and emerging technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards for emergency lighting systems.
  • Provide technical feedback to the product development team.

Qualifications

  • Graduate engineering degree.
  • At least seven years of techno-commercial experience with extensive knowledge of emergency lighting systems and applications.

Skills

  • Technical knowledge of emergency lighting or safety systems is required.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and DIALux lighting design software.
  • Experience in troubleshooting systems, testing and commissioning, and site management.
  • Fire alarm system experience is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Electrical products instrumentation knowledge and PC literacy.

Work Arrangement

  • The position is based in Dubai and includes a hybrid worktime model.
