Business Development Engineer - Critical Power Solutions

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Develop Critical Power Solutions business with customer service organizations, Eaton partners, and customers across the Middle East.
• Coordinate with sales, presales, services, and other business units.
• Build sales ecosystem product and application knowledge through support, training needs identification, and knowledge transfer.
• Drive product launches and provide customer input to product management through the NPD ProLaunch process.
• Help presales and sales teams select account product portfolios and develop value propositions and positioning.
• Consolidate and share local competition, pricing, and market trend information.
• Partner with product managers and other business unit functions to stay connected with customers and markets.
• Own the Middle East Critical Power Solutions factory forecast and identify growth opportunities beyond current business.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Requires relevant business development, commerce, key account management, or product management experience in three-phase UPS, power distribution, or the data center industry.
• Requires understanding of electrical equipment and low-voltage applications, and knowledge of power electronics and UPS systems.
• Requires initiative, autonomy, customer focus, strong communication and presentation skills, strategic thinking, and problem-solving ability.
• An MBA is a plus; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
