Lead technical estates and hard facilities management at Wycombe Hospital in a busy healthcare environment.
Maintain safe, compliant, operational building services, plant, equipment, and infrastructure.
Employment and schedule
- Permanent, full-time role, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week between 08:00 and 17:00.
- Some weekend, evening, and night work may be required to support operational needs.
Compensation
- Pay is up to £65,000 per annum, plus a car and benefits.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical estates and hard facilities management services and ensure compliance with health, safety, statutory, and contractual requirements.
- Deputise for the Contract Manager; manage the annual planned maintenance schedule for engineering systems and critical infrastructure.
- Develop stakeholder relationships and lead, coach, and manage the Estates team.
- Manage risks, asset replacement, and maintenance; support budgets, forecasting, cost control, and improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- HNC, HND, or equivalent relevant qualification, or substantial industry experience.
- IOSH Managing Safely or higher in Health and Safety; strong knowledge of building services, healthcare estates, and HTMs.
- Experience leading teams, managing performance and budgets, improving services, and handling complex stakeholder relationships.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
