- Manage multiple India-based squads made up of contract and full-time team members.
- Coach teams on best practices, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Align priorities and handoffs with U.S. engineering and product leaders; translate business needs into scalable solutions.
- Participate in architecture and design reviews; assist with code reviews and troubleshooting.
- Oversee planning, backlog grooming, estimation, sprint execution, and release coordination.
- Monitor milestones and risks, represent India teams in cross-functional discussions, and report KPIs to U.S. engineering leadership.
- Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and skill development, and maintain high performance and accountability standards.
Qualifications
- The overview states 9–15 years of experience; basic qualifications state 8–10+ years in software engineering with full-stack development exposure.
- At least 5 years in engineering or project management with distributed/global teams.
- Proven record managing complex projects from discovery through deployment.
