Role overview

Maintain technical product coverage for Behavioral Health Utilization Management initiatives supporting payer and government channels.

Help prevent downstream delays, compliance exposure, and fragmented ownership in regulated programs.

Primary responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day technical product execution for payer and government Behavioral Health Utilization Management initiatives.
  • Manage work involving restricted datasets and regulated environments to ensure compliant delivery.
  • Serve as the primary onshore coordination point for engineering, implementation, clinical, and business stakeholders.
  • Address dependencies offshore teams cannot access or resolve to enable timely client implementations and production support.
  • Reduce delivery risk, compliance exposure, and execution delays associated with regulated programs.
  • Support client implementations, production readiness, and issue triage.

Required qualifications

  • Graduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least four years of technical product execution experience supporting payer and/or government healthcare programs.
  • Working knowledge of Behavioral Health Utilization Management concepts, workflows, and regulatory considerations.
  • Translate regulatory, contractual, and operational requirements into clear product requirements.
  • Coordinate delivery across engineering, implementation, clinical, and business teams; manage dependencies in regulated or restricted-data environments.
  • Understand data handling, access controls, offshore delivery constraints, and compliance in payer, Medicaid, Medicare, or other government-regulated contexts.
  • Identify delivery risks early and drive resolution; support implementations, production readiness, and issue triage.
  • Communicate effectively, work in scaled delivery models, and prioritize under delivery pressure.

AI and product tooling

  • Use AI-assisted tools, such as Copilot or generative AI platforms, for requirements analysis, documentation, summarization, and backlog refinement and prioritization.
  • Hands-on experience with product and delivery tools such as Rally, Aha!, or equivalent, with AI-enabled features.
  • Apply AI responsibly in regulated environments while maintaining human oversight and accountability.
