Role overview

Responsibilities

• Promote basic hygiene practices and build a culture of adherence on the operations floor.
• Drive cost reduction through automation, productivity improvement, and cross-utilization of resources.
• Support staff in meeting productivity and quality goals; help new hires become productive quickly.
• Manage team quality and productivity targets, motivate staff, manage attrition, and coach career development.
• Build systems to prevent escalations and respond promptly to escalations.
• Identify process gaps and provide input to leadership; execute work independently and on time.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, information-security standards, and HIPAA-related responsibilities.
• Build relationships with onshore counterparts and support functions to maximize results.
• Handle MIS and reporting accurately and on time.
• Analyze error trends and develop defect-reduction and improvement plans for departments and individuals.
• Handle administrative and ad hoc tasks and stay current on process and healthcare-industry changes.

Required qualifications

• Medical degree in BHMS, BAMS, BUMS, BPT, MPT, or B.Sc. Nursing.
• At least 2 years of relevant healthcare BPO experience as a Team Manager.
• At least 5 years of total healthcare experience.
• Experience with performance management, project management, coaching, and mentoring.
• Ability to organize and lead a team of 20 or more people toward shared outcomes.
• Demonstrated listening, tact, candor, two-way communication, and high-impact communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and take initiative with minimal direction.
• Effective verbal and written communication, numeracy, and analytical skills.

Preferred qualification

• CPC certification is preferred.
