Senior Financial Analyst

Role overview

Schedule

• Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
• Must be flexible to work 8-hour shifts during normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. MST; occasional overtime may be needed.

Workplace

• Office-based hybrid schedule with three in-office days per week at the Draper, Utah office.

Financial planning and expense management

• Lead quarterly and annual IT operating expense forecasts across cost centers and West Region markets.
• Analyze actuals against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods; explain variances and maintain financial models and spend projections.
• Identify financial risks, opportunities, and savings; support cost-center management, accounting activity, and general ledger coding.

Chargebacks, vendors, and capital

• Analyze technology chargebacks and allocations; validate changes and improve cost-driver transparency.
• Coordinate with sourcing, procurement, accounts payable, and technology teams on vendor spend, contracts, purchase orders, and invoices.
• Monitor vendor expenses for budget alignment and cost optimization; support technology capital projects and track financial performance, timing, and funding.

Reporting and analysis

• Prepare executive presentations, dashboards, reporting packages, and financial commentary for recurring reviews.
• Develop reporting tools, forecasting models, and repeatable workflows using advanced Excel, Hyperion Essbase, Smart View, Power BI, and other tools.
• Perform strategic and ad hoc analysis for technology strategy, operational decisions, planning, and leadership requests.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
