A leading fit-out company is hiring a Project Technical Manager – Fit-Out.
The role leads technical coordination, design integration, and construction documentation across fit-out projects.
Key responsibilities
- Lead coordination across architecture, interior design, MEP, ELV, fire and life safety, and specialist systems.
- Review design and shop drawings, technical specifications, and as-built documentation.
- Coordinate technical approvals and clarifications with clients, consultants, landlords, and authorities.
- Review material submittals, samples, mock-ups, joinery details, and alternative material proposals.
- Support site teams and resolve design and construction issues.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, quality standards, and authority requirements.
- Monitor technical submissions, support value engineering, and coordinate with procurement, planning, QS, and construction teams.
- Lead technical engineers and CAD/BIM teams to deliver documentation on time.
- Coordinate inspections, testing and commissioning, snagging, and final handover.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in fit-out.
- Strong knowledge of fit-out construction, interior finishes, joinery, and MEP coordination.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Strong leadership, technical problem-solving, stakeholder management, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and technical deliverables.
Additional advantageous skills
- Revit, Navisworks, and BIM coordination skills are an advantage.
