Lead estimation and cost planning for bespoke interior, decorative, and specialist contracting projects.
Manage the process from initial enquiry and quantity take-offs through tender submission and handover.
Responsibilities
- Lead the estimation team and end-to-end tendering and pricing activities.
- Prepare and review BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and tender submissions.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements for accurate costing.
- Develop pricing strategies, budgets, and cost breakdowns for materials, labor, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with procurement, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
- Identify cost optimization opportunities, commercial risks, and value engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with management, design, and project teams on pricing accuracy and profitability.
- Maintain cost databases, estimation benchmarks, and standard pricing procedures.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive estimation experience in interiors, fit-out, decorative solutions, or specialist contracting.
- Experience leading an estimation team and managing multiple tenders.
- Strong expertise in BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost planning, and tender pricing.
- Knowledge of UAE construction costs, suppliers, and subcontractor markets.
- Proficiency in estimation software, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong commercial, analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills.
