Technical Engineer

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise site execution and installation of decorative metal and related interior works.
• Coordinate daily activities among site teams, production, and project stakeholders.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, calculations, and project requirements.
• Work with clients, architects, consultants, and engineers to resolve technical and site matters.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor workmanship, quality, and compliance with approved requirements.
• Track progress and take action to keep work aligned with agreed schedules.
• Plan manpower, allocate responsibilities, and delegate tasks to site and production teams.
• Support decorative metal projects from execution through completion.
• Prepare site documentation, access passes, progress reports, and project records.
• Assist with project billing and resolve relevant commercial or accounting matters.
• Identify and address site issues independently, escalating when senior intervention is required.
• Guide and train installation teams on safety, quality, and workmanship; deliver projects within agreed timeframes and budgets.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of UAE site experience is essential.
• Proven experience in the interior decorative metal, glass, or aluminium sector is mandatory.
• At least 3–5 years in a Project Coordinator, Project Engineer, or Project Manager capacity.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant equivalent qualification.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Valid UAE driving licence is mandatory.
• Strong technical understanding of site execution and installation processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coordinate, and delegate across site and production teams.
• Confident decision-maker able to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
