About The Role

An exciting opportunity exists to join Macro's Managing Agent team, supporting a flagship corporate headquarters environment in Dubai.

The Technical Services Manager will be responsible for leading all technical services, critical asset management, supplier governance, technical assurance, and operational resilience activities across a premium headquarters environment.

Working within a governance-led Managing Agent model, the role will coordinate and performance-manage multiple technical service providers, OEMs, and specialist contractors to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable building operations.

The successful candidate will act as the technical authority across the account, supporting critical systems, BMS integration, asset performance, compliance management, and continuous improvement initiatives, while ensuring that technical services remain aligned to client expectations and business requirements.

Technical Governance & Supplier Management

  • Lead governance and performance management of all technical service providers, OEMs, and specialist contractors.
  • Monitor supplier performance against contractual KPIs and SLAs.
  • Chair technical governance meetings and service reviews.
  • Manage technical escalations, service recovery plans, and corrective actions.
  • Validate technical reports, maintenance records, and operational performance data.

Critical Asset Management

  • Provide technical oversight of critical MEP systems and infrastructure.
  • Ensure operational resilience across all critical systems.
  • Oversee BMS, smart building platforms, and building technology integration.
  • Support asset lifecycle planning and replacement strategies.
  • Monitor asset condition, reliability, and performance.

Compliance & Assurance

  • Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and client requirements.
  • Lead technical audits, inspections, and assurance activities.
  • Validate PPM quality and contractor workmanship.
  • Manage permit-to-work compliance and technical risk controls.
  • Support business continuity and incident management activities.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the senior technical point of contact for client stakeholders.
  • Present technical reports, risk assessments, and governance updates.
  • Support sustainability, energy optimisation, and decarbonisation initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.

About You

  • The ideal candidate will have:
  • Experience within technical facilities management.
  • Strong experience managing technical service providers and OEM contractors.
  • Experience within corporate headquarters, banking, commercial towers, airports, healthcare, or critical environments.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, BMS platforms, critical infrastructure, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience chairing technical governance meetings and managing supplier performance.
  • Strong commercial, contractual, and risk management awareness.
  • NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent qualification desirable.
  • An engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
