Seeking an experienced Technical Lead with a strong backend engineering focus to design, build, and operate large-scale distributed systems.
The lead remains hands-on while providing technical direction to a cross-functional engineering team.

Responsibilities
- Lead development and operation of cloud-native backend platforms, microservices, and event-driven systems.
- Build backend services and frontend applications using the technologies specified in the role description.
- Design secure APIs and implement authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Improve availability, resilience, performance, scalability, reliability, and observability.
- Operate cloud solutions, containerize applications, orchestrate workloads, and improve CI/CD and infrastructure automation.
- Set technical direction and engineering standards; conduct code reviews and mentor engineers.
- Resolve complex production issues, plan delivery, estimate work, manage dependencies, and support sprint execution.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, DevOps, QA, and other engineering teams.
Core technical requirements
- Strong hands-on Node.js, TypeScript, and Express.js expertise; experience building enterprise-grade backend services.
- Strong microservices and distributed systems experience, including scalable, highly available, resilient designs.
- Hands-on Apache Kafka experience for event-driven systems, asynchronous processing, and service integration.
- Strong MongoDB experience with data modeling, indexing, aggregation, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Strong Redis experience with caching, distributed locking, session management, and optimization.
- Strong ReactJS experience; Angular experience is relevant for full-stack delivery.
- Hands-on cloud platform experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP; Azure is preferred.
- The role also specifies Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and DevOps practices.
