Role Overview
GSS Tech Group is hiring a Brokerage Platform Lead for an enterprise client in the UAE capital markets sector.
The role owns the client’s trading and brokerage platform from onboarding through order execution and settlement.
The lead is the main technical owner for connectivity to regional exchanges, including DFM, ADX, and Tadawul, and works with trading, risk, compliance, and operations teams.

GSS Tech Group is hiring a Brokerage Platform Lead for an enterprise client in the UAE capital markets sector.
The role owns the client’s trading and brokerage platform from onboarding through order execution and settlement.
The lead is the main technical owner for connectivity to regional exchanges, including DFM, ADX, and Tadawul, and works with trading, risk, compliance, and operations teams.
Key responsibilities
- Own the platform lifecycle across onboarding, order capture, execution, clearing, and settlement.
- Integrate the platform with trading, risk, and compliance systems.
- Improve low-latency, reliable market connectivity to regional exchanges.
- Lead upgrades, coordinate vendors, and align the platform with regulatory requirements.
- Champion Agile practices and contribute to backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release management.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure availability and resilience.
Must-have requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience working on trading or brokerage platforms.
- Proven exposure to Tradenet or a comparable brokerage platform.
- Strong understanding of front-to-back brokerage architecture; expertise in OMS and FIX.
- Deep knowledge of DFM, ADX, or Tadawul connectivity and institutional equities workflows, including algorithmic and high-touch/low-touch order flows.
- Proficiency in Oracle and PostgreSQL; experience building and integrating RESTful services.
- Agile delivery experience using JIRA, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
Advantageous experience
- Familiarity with Kafka for real-time data streaming and event-driven architecture is an advantage.
- Hands-on Java and/or C++ development, with exposure to Node.js and React, is an advantage.
