Technical Lead – DevSecOps role leading secure, scalable Kubernetes infrastructure design, implementation, automation, and operational management.
The position is a 12+ month contract based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, deployment, configuration, and management of Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot clusters, workloads, networking, storage, and resource utilization; perform root-cause analysis and resolve incidents.
- Manage Rancher cluster provisioning, registration, access control, monitoring, and lifecycle operations.
- Implement, configure, and maintain secure, production-grade RKE2 Kubernetes clusters.
- Drive DevSecOps practices, platform reliability, automation, and secure container orchestration.
Required technical skills
- Strong hands-on Kubernetes administration, architecture, troubleshooting, and production operations experience.
- Practical Rancher setup, configuration, management, and cluster lifecycle experience.
- Strong knowledge of RKE2 installation, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Experience deploying and managing NVIDIA GPU Operator on Kubernetes, preferably on RKE2.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of GitOps principles and tools such as Argo CD or Flux.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Significant hands-on experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Kubernetes engineering, or platform engineering.
- CKA, CKS, or CKAD certifications are an advantage.
Shortlisting focus
Prioritize strong Kubernetes cluster, pod, networking, storage, and workload troubleshooting experience.
Prioritize practical Rancher and RKE2 setup and operations experience.
Prioritize demonstrated NVIDIA GPU Operator deployment and troubleshooting on RKE2 or comparable Kubernetes environments.
Prioritize automated deployment pipeline and GitOps implementation experience.
