Technical Lead - DevSecOps

Role and contract

Required technical skills

• Strong hands-on experience administering, architecting, troubleshooting, and operating Kubernetes in production.
• Practical experience managing Rancher setup, configuration, and cluster lifecycles.
• Strong knowledge of RKE2 installation, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Experience deploying and managing NVIDIA GPU Operator on Kubernetes, preferably on RKE2.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of GitOps principles and tools such as Argo CD or Flux.
• Experience configuring Istio service mesh, traffic routing, mTLS, security policies, and observability.
• Knowledge of Docker, containerd, and Kubernetes networking.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation with Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Understanding of DevSecOps, container security, vulnerability scanning, and infrastructure security.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and the EFK/ELK stack.
• Familiarity with Linux administration, networking, DNS, ingress controllers, storage, and TLS certificates.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Significant hands-on experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Kubernetes engineering, or platform engineering.
• Previous experience leading technical teams or driving complex infrastructure implementations.
• Experience supporting production-grade Kubernetes environments and resolving complex technical issues.
• CKA, CKS, or CKAD certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Administer, architect, troubleshoot, and operate Kubernetes environments in production.
• Manage Rancher setup, configuration, and cluster lifecycles.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot RKE2.
• Deploy and manage NVIDIA GPU Operator on Kubernetes, preferably on RKE2.
• Use CI/CD tooling and implement GitOps practices.
• Configure Istio service mesh, including traffic routing, mTLS, security policies, and observability.
• Use container technologies and manage Kubernetes networking.
• Automate tasks using scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Apply DevSecOps practices, container security, vulnerability scanning, and infrastructure security.
• Use monitoring and logging tools to support platform operations.
• Manage Linux, networking, DNS, ingress controllers, storage, and TLS certificates.
