KEA Building Contracting LLC is hiring a full-time Technical Engineer for a mass villa project in Dubai, UAE.
The role manages project technical requirements and ensures drawings are accurate, coordinated across trades, and ready for construction without clashes or rework.
Responsibilities
- Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings, specifications, and BOQs for completeness and constructability.
- Coordinate design drawings with subcontractor shop drawings and resolve clashes and discrepancies.
- Review finishing details, materials, and interfaces between trades.
- Prepare, review, and track shop drawing and material submittals until consultant approval.
- Raise RFIs and technical queries and follow up until closure.
- Standardize details across repeated villa types for mass-production consistency.
- Coordinate technical matters with site engineers, project managers, procurement, and consultants.
- Track design revisions and ensure only the latest approved drawings are used on site.
- Support quality checks against approved drawings and specifications, and maintain technical records and logs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of building or villa construction experience; residential mass-housing experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of finishing coordination and excellent drawing-reading and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit/BIM is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Good English; Arabic is a plus.
Pay
- The posting lists AED 7,000–10,000 per month.
