Prepare and update HVAC and pumping shop drawings for villas and buildings.
Work with MEP engineers and site teams to ensure drawings are accurate, coordinated, and ready for consultant and authority approval.
Drawing and coordination duties
- Prepare HVAC drawings for ductwork, chilled-water and refrigerant piping, equipment layouts, and sections.
- Prepare drawings for water supply, drainage, booster pumps, and pump-room layouts.
- Produce sections, schematics, and installation details based on design drawings and engineer instructions.
- Coordinate with civil, architectural, electrical, and plumbing teams to resolve clashes.
- Prepare as-built drawings, authority and consultant submissions, and maintain drawing registers with revision control.
- Visit sites as required to verify measurements and site conditions.
Qualifications and experience
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Mechanical/HVAC Draftsman; HVAC design experience is required.
- Experience producing HVAC and pumping drawings for villas and residential buildings; contracting-company experience is preferred.
- Strong AutoCAD proficiency; Revit MEP is an advantage and Navisworks is a plus.
- Familiarity with duct and pipe sizing tools, Dubai authority submissions, MEP installation, and coordination.
- Good communication skills in English; currently in the UAE and available to join at short notice.
