Role Overview
Own end-to-end architecture for enterprise-grade full-stack digital products and platforms.
Focus on backend engineering, including microservices, APIs, databases, event-driven systems, cloud-native services, security, integrations, observability, and reliability.
Work with product, engineering, DevOps, security, and client stakeholders from design through production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Define architecture for enterprise full-stack applications and scalable backend distributed systems.
- Establish REST, GraphQL, and gRPC API standards and architect event-driven messaging systems.
- Design relational, NoSQL, caching, application-security, frontend, and cloud-native deployment patterns.
- Set observability, resilience, and production-readiness standards.
- Review architecture, APIs, data models, and critical code; lead technology-selection decisions.
- Mentor engineers and act as technical contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 14+ years of software-engineering experience, including 3+ years in an architecture role.
- Backend expertise in one of Java, Node.js, Python, or .NET ecosystems.
- Experience with microservices, distributed systems, cloud-native applications, messaging, databases, and caching.
- Production cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Hands-on Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, frontend integration, and stakeholder-management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Multi-tenant SaaS, API gateways, service meshes, or serverless-platform experience.
- Knowledge of Terraform, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or similar tools.
- DevSecOps, secure software-development, Generative AI, Agentic AI, or consulting-delivery experience.
