QA Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Plan test cases with development and product teams; execute tests across devices, platforms, and network conditions.
• Conduct regression, compatibility, usability, and performance testing; identify bottlenecks and help reduce buffering.
• Document and track defects with details for developers; identify automation candidates and collaborate on test-script development and maintenance.
• Provide quality feedback and prepare test reports, logs, and summaries for stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least five years testing mobile and web applications; streaming-app experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute.
• Understand QA methodologies, tools, and processes; have familiarity with mobile, CTV, and web testing across platforms.
• Proficiency with testing and bug-tracking tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Bugzilla; AI- and data-driven testing experience.
• Streaming protocols HLS, MPEG-DASH, and WebRTC are a strong plus; test-automation writing experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills; able to work independently in an agile environment.
