Role overview

Client, delivery and technical responsibilities
- Manage UAE client relationships, requirements, technical discussions, delivery coordination, and escalations.
- Oversee multiple projects and client engagements, coordinating application support, incidents, change requests, enhancements, and production issues.
- Track delivery progress, risks, dependencies, timelines, and service commitments across distributed teams.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications and guide teams on Oracle PL/SQL, Java, microservices, and integrations.
- Review solution designs, database architecture, data models, and integrations for scalable, maintainable applications.
- Support RFIs, RFPs, proposals, solution architecture, technical presentations, effort estimation, resource planning, and implementation approaches.
- Mentor colleagues, promote knowledge sharing, and identify improvements to delivery efficiency, service quality, and client satisfaction.
Required qualifications and experience
- 10–12 years of experience in software development, technical leadership, project delivery, or technical account management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
- Mandatory strong insurance-domain knowledge; insurance applications, policy administration, and claims are relevant areas.
- Strong understanding of Oracle PL/SQL, Java, microservices architecture, database design, and data modelling.
- Experience managing client engagements, projects, application support, incidents, change requests, enhancements, and production issues.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, escalation management, and coordination skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions and coordinate distributed teams.
- Presales experience, including RFIs, RFPs, technical proposals, and effort estimation.
- PMP and/or Scrum certification is preferred.
Work arrangement
- The role is primarily based in the Dubai office, with visits to client premises as required.
