Job Description
- Responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of training programs within the relevant ATC unit to meet operational requirements and in compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and quality standards.
- Leads and motivates a team of Operational Training Specialists to ensure high quality development and delivery of ATC Training to relevant ATC Unit ATCOs.
- Supports dans Operational Training in the development of dans overall Training Strategy and reports to the Manager Operational Training on development issues, opportunities, and development plans.
- Support Manager ATC Operational Training to ensure the department functions according to the dans OTS training policy
- Continued development of the Nationalisation program across the Operational units aligned with the dans strategy
- Report ATC operational Training issues, risks, and opportunities to Manager ATC Operational Training
- Number of staff directly supervised:2
- Total number of staff: 2
Knowledge & Experience
- Minimum 2 years local ATC experience related to the discipline
- Hold a valid DWC TWR ATC Unit OJTI Endorsement for a minimum of 1 year
- Validation of the relevant ATC ratings for a minimum 5 years at a major international airport
- Degree / Diploma in a relevant field from an accredited university preferable
- Further studies and / or qualifications relevant to training, learning and development would be an advantage
- Completion of a Classroom Instructional Techniques (CIT) or equivalent is required
- Completion of an OJTI and assessor course
- Comprehensive knowledge of Air Navigation Services, procedures, regulations, standards, and training
- Knowledge of Safety Management Systems
