Role overview
Supervise the prepress design team to achieve productivity, process effectiveness, and service levels that meet business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts that meet client specifications.
- Assign design staff duties to ensure jobs meet production schedules and productivity improves.
- Reduce consumable waste to keep department operating overheads within acceptable limits.
- Minimize digital errors before plate output to reduce rework.
- Prepare spot UV, foil block, and die line digital files on time and forward them to production.
- Optimize use of digital printers, materials, and staff to improve output and productivity.
Requirements
- Ability to supervise a design team and achieve productivity, process-effectiveness, service-level, and business objectives.
- Ability to create designs, concepts, and sample layouts that meet client specifications.
