Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver practical, laboratory, and tutorial sessions.
- Teach introductory and other professional or technical sessions under course-instructor supervision.
- Assess and grade student assignments, tests, quizzes, exams, and projects under instructor supervision.
- Provide academic assistance during office hours and assist with graduation projects.
- Organize field trips and supervise internships and field studies.
- Serve on departmental or faculty committees as assigned.
- Contribute to academic advising, department or college events, and departmental research activities.
- Perform other responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in biostatistics, epidemiology, or a similar field.
- At least two years of experience running tutorials in biostatistics and epidemiology for public health or medical students.
- Familiarity with educational technologies in higher education.
- Flexibility with academic and administrative tasks.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly with students and liaise with faculty members.
- Arabic language ability is preferred.
Benefits and Contract
- Three-year renewable contract.
- Salary is commensurate with experience and tax-free.
