Duties and responsibilities
- Teach courses in the area of expertise.
- Contribute to committees at the program, college, and university levels.
- Publish research that contributes to the college's research profile.
- Serve as a student advisor.
- Carry out other responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in International Affairs or a relevant disciplinary area.
- Strong peer-reviewed publication record and tertiary-level teaching experience.
- Familiarity with educational technologies used in higher education.
- Willingness to work with teams and awareness of working with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Contract and benefits
- A three-year renewable contract is offered.
- Salary is commensurate with experience and tax-free.
- Benefits include furnished accommodation, eligible children's educational allowance, private health care and insurance, annual leave, and end-of-contract indemnity, subject to Qatar University HR policies.
