The assistant helps meet children’s needs in line with the curriculum and preschool educational goals.
Classroom and child support
- Assist with daily lesson plans, learning activities, and educational games aligned with the preschool curriculum.
- Supervise children during classroom activities, playtime, meals, and outdoor play; reinforce rules and positive behavior.
- Prepare classroom resources and displays and help maintain clean, organized, hazard-free spaces.
- Offer individual or small-group help and emotional support; observe development and report concerns or progress to the lead teacher.
- Support daily routines including arrivals, departures, toileting, meals, and rest time.
- Model respectful and inclusive behavior and collaborate with teachers and staff.
Skills and approach

Qualifications and experience
