Supports preschool classroom instruction, child supervision, daily routines, and a safe, inclusive learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher with lessons, learning activities, and educational games aligned with the preschool curriculum.
- Supervise children during classroom activities, playtime, meals, and outdoor play.
- Reinforce classroom rules and support social and emotional development.
- Prepare classroom materials and displays; keep spaces organized, clean, and safe.
- Provide individual or small-group assistance and emotional support.
- Observe development and behavior and report notable progress or concerns to the lead teacher.
- Help with arrivals, departures, toileting, meals, rest time, and transitions.
- Model respectful, inclusive interaction and collaborate with staff on consistent teaching and childcare.

Qualifications and experience
