Overview

ISLAND TOWER GROUP is seeking a highly proactive and resourceful **Talent Acquisition Specialist** to support the Group's recruitment and talent acquisition objectives across its construction, infrastructure, MEP, steel fabrication, industrial, and related business sectors.

This is not a traditional recruitment role focused solely on job advertisements and applicant processing.

The successful candidate shall be responsible for conducting targeted candidate searches, talent mapping, market intelligence, and direct candidate engagement to identify high-calibre professionals across the UAE and GCC markets.

The ideal candidate will possess strong industry connections, extensive experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other professional sourcing platforms, and a proven track record of successfully identifying and engaging passive candidates for technical, managerial, and leadership positions.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct targeted candidate searches for technical, managerial, specialist, and leadership positions across the construction, infrastructure, MEP, steel fabrication, industrial, manufacturing, and related sectors.
  • Identify potential candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, referrals, industry databases, market intelligence, and direct outreach.
  • Develop and maintain talent maps of key organizations, competitors, and industry professionals relevant to the Group's hiring requirements.
  • Proactively approach and engage passive candidates who may not be actively seeking employment opportunities.
  • Conduct preliminary screening interviews to assess technical competence, experience, career progression, salary expectations, and cultural fit.
  • Prepare candidate assessment reports and provide recommendations to management regarding suitability for employment.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified professionals for both current vacancies and future manpower requirements.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with professionals across the construction, infrastructure, engineering, industrial, and manufacturing sectors.
  • Monitor market trends, talent availability, organizational structures, and salary benchmarks within the UAE and GCC markets.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Conduct reference checks and background verification where required.
  • Support succession planning initiatives by identifying talent for critical and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Maintain an organized and continuously updated database of candidates, industry contacts, and talent pools.
  • Prepare recruitment status reports, talent mapping reports, and market intelligence reports for management review.
  • Work closely with department heads and senior management to understand hiring requirements and develop targeted sourcing strategies.
  • Ensure complete confidentiality and professionalism when conducting strategic or confidential searches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4–7 years of experience in recruitment, executive search, talent acquisition, or headhunting.
  • Proven experience recruiting within the construction, infrastructure, MEP, engineering, manufacturing, industrial, or related sectors.
  • Demonstrated expertise in LinkedIn Recruiter and professional candidate sourcing platforms.
  • Strong understanding of UAE and GCC labour markets.
  • Proven ability to identify, engage, and attract passive candidates.
  • Excellent interviewing, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong networking and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to evaluate technical, managerial, and leadership candidates.
  • Highly organized with strong reporting and analytical capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with engineering, construction, infrastructure, MEP, industrial, or manufacturing organizations.
  • Existing professional network within the UAE construction and engineering sectors.
  • Experience recruiting Project Managers, Construction Managers, Engineers, Commercial Managers, Estimators, Quantity Surveyors, Workshop Managers, Operations Managers, and senior leadership positions.
  • Experience conducting confidential searches and executive-level recruitment assignments.
  • Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
