Role overview

Planning and procurement

• Manage demand forecasting, production planning, and replenishment to maintain stock availability and align inventory with business requirements.
• Procure raw materials, packaging, and other production requirements while supporting timely purchasing and cost efficiency.
• Source suppliers, request quotations, compare prices, and negotiate terms for competitive costs, reliable quality, and timely deliveries.
• Maintain supplier relationships and follow up on purchase orders, delivery schedules, material availability, and supply issues.

Inventory and supply chain coordination

• Coordinate with co-packers, warehouse teams, and logistics partners on production scheduling and inbound and outbound product flow.
• Monitor stock cover, slow-moving inventory, expiry dates, and potential shortages; act to reduce waste and prevent stockouts.
• Track material consumption against production plans and identify discrepancies, unusual usage, and supply risks.
• Maintain accurate inventory and procurement records for stock movements, purchase orders, and material requirements.
• Monitor performance and improve forecasting accuracy, inventory efficiency, and procurement processes; flag operational risks.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, and inventory control.
• FMCG, food and beverage, beverage production, or manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with forecasting, production planning, inventory management, and replenishment.
• Strong understanding of raw material and packaging procurement, supplier management, and purchase orders.
• Experience monitoring stock levels, material consumption, stock cover, expiry dates, and reorder requirements.
• Ability to coordinate with suppliers, co-packers, warehouse teams, and logistics partners.
• Analytical skills, commercial awareness, and knowledge of negotiations, cost control, and procurement efficiency.
• Comfort with inventory systems, ERP platforms, spreadsheets, or similar tools; strong organization and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and coordination; strong English proficiency is required, and Arabic is an advantage.
• Proactive problem-solving and ability to manage priorities, anticipate shortages, and maintain continuity of supply.
