Procurement & Inventory Officer supporting satellite kitchens at a fast-growing, multi-market company.
Own purchasing, inventory control, and kitchen administration for assigned kitchens, ensuring supplies support daily production and orders while reducing discrepancies, waste, and unnecessary costs.
Responsibilities
- Source and negotiate purchases and place orders for ingredients, packaging, and consumables; manage supplier follow-up on deliveries, quality, and shortages.
- Track purchasing spend and cost variances; count and reconcile stock, set par levels, and apply FIFO practices.
- Coordinate order intake, production flow, delivery, and supply availability with kitchen and Packing & Dispatch teams.
- Maintain goods-received notes, supplier invoices, stock logs, and an orderly stock and administrative environment.
Requirements
- 3–4 years of experience in procurement, inventory management, purchasing, or kitchen administration.
- Food production, hospitality, restaurant, or similar operational experience is highly preferred.
- Hands-on supplier, purchasing, and purchase-order experience; comfortable negotiating and following up on price, availability, quality, and delivery.
- Strong inventory skills, including counting, reconciliation, replenishment, and FIFO; comfortable with systems or spreadsheets.
- Basic procurement budget and cost-tracking knowledge, organization, attention to detail, communication, and coordination skills.
