Key Responsibilities

1. Logistics & Operations Management

• Oversee overall operations and financial performance of the logistics department
• Manage procurement of ocean freight and local/cross-border transport from vendors
• Supervise in-house fleet operations including trucks, warehouse managers, and logistics staff

2. Customs & Compliance

• Develop and maintain relationships with government authorities for smooth customs clearance
• Manage MENA duty exemptions, dangerous goods permits, and temporary import duty refunds
• Ensure full compliance with company policies and international trade regulations

3. Service Provider & Carrier Management

• Maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, trucking vendors, and air/ocean carriers
• Negotiate contracts, rates, and service agreements with logistics partners

4. Documentation & Shipment Tracking

• Manage key logistics documentation including Bills of Lading, export permits, and regulatory paperwork
• Track shipments and ensure timely delivery while resolving delays or issues
• Coordinate booking space with shipping lines, cargo pickup/delivery, and document submissions

5. Continuous Improvement & Reporting

• Identify opportunities to optimize logistics operations and reduce costs
• Improve operational efficiency through process enhancement and best practices
• Provide regular performance reports and insights to senior management

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of senior/supervisory experience in sea freight forwarding operations
• Strong background in logistics management, preferably in automobile import/export industry
• Deep understanding of international shipping, customs regulations, and trade compliance
• Proven leadership experience in managing teams
• Proficiency in logistics and supply chain software/tools
• Strong negotiation, analytical, organizational, and time-management skills

• Timely and compliant processing of shipments and customs clearance
• Efficient management of vendors, carriers, and internal logistics teams
• Accuracy and compliance in documentation and trade processes
• Reduction in logistics costs and improved operational efficiency
• Successful end-to-end coordination of import/export operations

Pay: AED1.00 - AED10.00 per month
