Senior Accountant - Rent A Car

Monthly

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements (4th Working day).
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Assist in tax audit and returns, ensuring compliance with UAE Tax laws.

Weekly

• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
• Ensure Financial statements made with the compliance of IFRS and other accounting standards and ensuring consistency.
• Reconcile GL and intercompany accounts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure the accuracy of financial data.

Daily

• Monitor and manage cash flows, ensure that company have always enough liquidity.
• Report daily fund flow statement.
• Liaise with clients, vendors, and other departments to support financial operations and resolve any financial queries or issues.
• Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, vendor accounts, and other key accounts to maintain accuracy.
• Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and support decision-making.

Decision Making Authority And Responsibility

Knowledge

• knowledge of IFRS and other financial reporting standards.
• Expertise in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and forecasting.

• Internal & External Audit

• MS Office, ERP Implementation, IAS & IFRS

Competencies

• Expert in accounting principles, financial analysis, tax regulations, and proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Sharp attention to detail, critical thinking, and ability to interpret complex financial data to provide actionable insights.

Qualification & Experience

• 2 to 3 years of experience in Car Rentals.
• Overall 5.5 years of experience.
