Overview

The Supply Chain & Planning Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end supply chain planning and execution across a portfolio of luxury retail brands.

This role serves as the single point of accountability for product availability, inventory optimization, replenishment strategies, supplier performance, and supply chain excellence, ensuring a seamless customer experience while protecting brand prestige and profitability.

The incumbent will own and chair the monthly Supply & Demand Review (S&OP) process, aligning commercial objectives, inventory investments, and operational capabilities to support business growth across retail stores, e-commerce channels, and wholesale partners.

Demand Planning & Forecasting

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts across all brands, product categories, and sales channels.
  • Collaborate closely with Brand, Retail, E-commerce, Marketing, and Finance teams to incorporate seasonal trends, promotional activities, product launches, and market dynamics into forecasts.
  • Analyze sales performance, customer buying patterns, and market trends to improve forecast accuracy and inventory decisions.
  • Lead forecasting activities for key retail periods, campaigns, and festive seasons.

Supply Planning & Replenishment Management

  • Translate demand forecasts into effective supply and replenishment plans to ensure optimal product availability.
  • Manage inventory allocation across boutiques, department stores, e-commerce platforms, and distribution centers.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely replenishment of products.
  • Balance product availability with inventory investment to maximize sales opportunities while minimizing excess stock.

Inventory Management & Stock Optimization

  • Develop inventory strategies that support luxury retail service standards and customer expectations.
  • Monitor stock levels, inventory aging, sell-through rates, and stock cover across all channels.
  • Drive initiatives to reduce stock-outs, overstocks, and obsolete inventory while maintaining high availability of core and bestselling products.
  • Oversee inventory planning for seasonal collections, limited editions, and exclusive launches.

Procurement & Supplier Relationship Management

  • Manage supplier performance, lead times, and procurement planning to ensure continuity of supply.
  • Build strong partnerships with global and regional suppliers to support product availability and operational excellence.
  • Monitor supplier KPIs and proactively address potential supply risks.
  • Support sourcing initiatives that align with business objectives and luxury brand standards.

Logistics, Warehousing & Distribution

  • Oversee inbound logistics, warehousing operations, and distribution activities across all markets.
  • Ensure efficient movement of products from suppliers to warehouses and retail locations.
  • Optimize transportation, storage, and distribution processes to improve service levels and cost efficiency.
  • Partner with logistics providers to maintain premium delivery standards for retail and e-commerce customers.

Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Leadership

  • Own and lead the monthly Supply & Demand Review process.
  • Facilitate cross-functional discussions to align demand forecasts, inventory plans, and supply capabilities.
  • Provide recommendations on product allocation, inventory investments, and supply priorities.
  • Present key supply chain insights, risks, opportunities, and performance metrics to senior leadership.

New Product Launch & Collection Planning

  • Lead supply chain readiness for new product launches, seasonal collections, boutique openings, and brand expansions.
  • Coordinate with Brand, Retail, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure successful market introductions.
  • Develop launch inventory plans and replenishment strategies to support sales objectives.
  • Monitor launch performance and adjust supply plans accordingly.

Supply Chain Process Improvement & Transformation

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across planning, inventory management, logistics, and procurement functions.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency through automation, process standardization, and digital tools.
  • Support supply chain transformation projects and best-practice implementation.

Supply Chain Risk Management & Business Continuity

  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks that may impact product availability or customer experience.
  • Develop contingency plans for supplier disruptions, logistics challenges, and demand fluctuations.
  • Ensure business continuity through proactive monitoring and risk assessment.

ERP, Data Analytics & KPI Management

  • Leverage ERP systems and planning tools to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor supply chain performance.
  • Analyze inventory, forecast, replenishment, and service-level metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across supply chain systems.

Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management

  • Partner closely with Retail, E-commerce, Brand, Finance, Marketing, Procurement, and Operations teams.
  • Act as the key link between commercial and operational functions to drive alignment and accountability.
  • Influence decision-making through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.

Team Leadership & Capability Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain planning team.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Build team capabilities in demand planning, inventory management, analytics, and supply chain best practices.

& Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8–10 years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, procurement, logistics, or operations within luxury retail, premium retail, fashion, beauty, fragrance, or consumer goods industries.
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing supply chain or planning teams.
  • Strong expertise in demand planning, replenishment, inventory optimization, and S&OP processes.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, planning tools, and supply chain analytics.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting multi-brand and multi-channel retail environments is highly preferred.
