Housekeeping operations
- Inspect cleaned rooms, public areas, and pool areas to ensure quality standards.
- Run sold-room reports, verify room status, identify unsuitable rooms, prioritize cleaning, and update departing-room status.
- Assist housekeeping management with daily activity and coordinate Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
- Document and resolve room discrepancies with the Front Desk; communicate room-assignment changes and unresolved issues to the next shift.
- Complete required administrative tasks.
Team, safety, and service
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, discipline, motivating, and coaching employees.
- Follow chain safety and security policies, report maintenance problems and hazards, complete safety training, and protect confidential information and company assets.
- Support colleagues, shared team goals, and quality standards; communicate courteously with guests and employees.
- Use computers or point-of-sale systems and complete other duties requested by supervisors that correspond to the role.
Recommended qualifications
- Secondary-school diploma or equivalent is recommended.
- At least one year of related work experience is recommended.
- At least one year of supervisory experience is recommended.
- The role requires physical activity, including moving and lifting objects, operating a loaded housekeeping cart, and navigating stairs, uneven surfaces, or extended shifts.
