Guest services and operations
- Arrange or coordinate guest services such as transportation, reservations, and dry cleaning.
- Handle special guest requests, including requests from guests with specific needs, and follow up on satisfaction.
- Share information about the hotel, nearby services, events, and activities.
- Respond to guest calls, messages, questions, and requests; resolve issues or contact the appropriate staff or department.
- Review shift logs, record relevant information, and prioritize outstanding requests from the prior day.
- Monitor office-supply inventory and order supplies; notify security of guest-reported theft.
Team, safety, and service standards
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, coaching, and motivating employees; serve as a role model for workplace policies.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions, and complete required safety training and certifications.
- Follow company policies and quality standards; maintain a professional appearance and protect confidential information and company property.
- Welcome guests according to company standards, communicate courteously, and build positive relationships with colleagues.
- Stand, sit, or move for extended periods and independently move, lift, carry, pull, or place loads up to 4.5 kg.
- Perform other duties requested by managers that correspond to the position.
Recommended qualifications
- Secondary-school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related work experience.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- No license or certification is specified.
