Role details

Guest service and operations

• Arrange or identify providers for guest requests such as transportation, reservations, and dry cleaning.
• Handle special requests for guests with exceptional needs and follow up on satisfaction.
• Provide information about the hotel, nearby amenities, events, and activities.
• Process guest calls, messages, requests, questions, and concerns; coordinate with departments to resolve issues.
• Review shift logs and daily memo books, document relevant information, and prioritize outstanding requests from the prior day.
• Monitor inventory and order general office supplies; report guest theft claims to Loss Prevention or Security.

Team and workplace duties

• Assist management with hiring, training, organizing, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; conduct safety training and obtain safety certifications.
• Follow company policies, maintain professional appearance and confidentiality, protect company property, and meet quality standards.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, use proper telephone protocol, maintain positive working relationships, and assist guests with disabilities.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

Desired qualifications and physical demands

• Desired education: secondary school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Desired related work experience: at least 1 year.
• Supervisory experience entries conflict: one says at least 1 year and another says none.
• The role requires extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking and moving objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance.
