Supervisor - Civil Engineer

Role overview

Civil, MEP, and team supervision

• Oversee civil works including masonry, carpentry, painting, plastering, concrete, waterproofing, and tiling.
• Supervise electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical work; ensure execution follows approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Lead multidisciplinary technicians, allocate schedules, and ensure timely work completion.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and on-site training.

Site coordination and reporting

• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance checks; coordinate work with contractors, suppliers, and the team.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly activity and progress reports, as well as daily work allocations.
• Identify site issues and recommend technical solutions.

Safety, materials, and quality

• Ensure compliance with UAE health and safety regulations and company and client quality standards.
• Maintain inspection, materials, and manpower records.
• Determine material requirements, arrange timely procurement, maintain inventory, and oversee tools and equipment use.
• Verify work completion and site material quantities; assist with BOQs, estimates, and cost proposals.

Drawings and AutoCAD

• Review and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Update drawings and prepare as-built layouts using AutoCAD.
• Ensure technicians and contractors execute work according to drawings and specifications.

Qualifications and experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with UAE equivalency is mandatory.
• At least 4 years of UAE facility management, construction, or maintenance experience is required.
• At least 4 years managing and supervising civil and MEP technicians is required.
• At least 4 years of AutoCAD experience and 2 years with BOQs, estimates, and material take-offs are required.
• Strong MEP knowledge, effective team supervision, communication, reporting, and coordination skills are required.
• Good knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and a valid UAE driving license are required.

Compensation and benefits

• Pay starts at AED 5,000 per month; salary is negotiable.
• Shared accommodation, a company vehicle, and medical insurance are offered.
