Civil Supervisor - Maintenance /Construction Background

Workplace

• Dubai role; work location is in person.

Civil and MEP supervision

• Oversee day-to-day civil and MEP maintenance across assigned sites.
• Monitor masonry, carpentry, painting, plastering, concrete, waterproofing, tiling, and related civil work.
• Supervise electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical tasks.
• Ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

Team and site coordination

• Lead multidisciplinary civil, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC technicians; allocate work schedules and ensure timely completion.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and on-site technician training.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance checks; coordinate contractors, suppliers, and teams.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, identify site issues, recommend solutions, and prepare daily team work allocations.

Safety, materials, and drawings

• Ensure compliance with UAE health and safety regulations and quality requirements; maintain inspection, material, and manpower documentation.
• Determine material needs, coordinate timely procurement, maintain inventory, and oversee tools and equipment.
• Verify work completion and material quantities; assist with BOQs, estimates, and cost proposals.
• Review and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings; update drawings and prepare as-built layouts using AutoCAD.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with UAE equivalency is mandatory.
• At least 4 years of UAE experience in a construction company with maintenance background.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems; AutoCAD experience is mandatory.
• Proficiency in BOQ preparation, estimation, and material take-offs; able to supervise multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and coordination skills; good knowledge of UAE HSE regulations.
• Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
• Experience requirements also specify 4 years managing civil and MEP technicians, 1 year using AutoCAD, and 2 years with BOQs, estimates, and material take-offs.
