Full-time, non-management Banquet Operations Supervisor role in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Banquet operations
- Coordinate staff and communicate with guests, employees, and departments to meet guest needs.
- Handle special event arrangements and prepare banquet rooms, including cleanliness and furniture and equipment setup.
- Inspect table arrangements against group requirements and company standards, and resolve issues.
- Maintain departmental records and assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, coaching, and other staff matters.
- Support positive working relationships and shared team goals.
Service and workplace standards
- Follow company safety and security procedures; report maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, and injuries.
- Protect company and guest privacy and property, maintain a professional appearance, welcome guests, and communicate clearly.
- Meet quality standards and complete other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.
Desirable qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is desirable.
- At least 1 year of related work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience are desirable.
- No license or certification is specified.
Physical requirements
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or the full shift; move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects under 50 pounds without assistance.
- Assist with objects over 75 pounds; bend, reach, handle objects, and navigate uneven or slippery surfaces and stairs.
