Strategy & Business Development Manager based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The role supports strategic planning, business performance, commercial analysis, and growth initiatives, working across Finance, Commercial, Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop annual business plans, forecasts, strategic initiatives, and long-term strategy; coordinate inputs and assumptions across functions.
- Conduct commercial analysis, scenario planning, and business-case evaluation; identify growth opportunities and advise senior management.
- Build KPI frameworks, balanced scorecards, and performance dashboards; analyse results against plans, budgets, and prior years.
- Identify performance gaps, risks, and opportunities and recommend corrective actions; prepare monthly and quarterly performance reviews.
- Support integrated Sales and Marketing plans and assess campaign and business performance.
- Prepare executive presentations, management reports, and strategic recommendations.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects and track actions; maintain planning calendars, templates, trackers, and SOPs.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis and ensure assumptions, figures, and reporting are accurate and traceable.
Candidate requirements
- Minimum 8 years in strategy, business planning, commercial analysis, FP&A, business development, or management consulting.
- Strong experience delivering annual planning or budgeting cycles, financial modelling, forecasting, and scenario planning.
- Commercial understanding of revenue, cost, margin, and business-performance drivers; experience with KPIs, scorecards, and reporting frameworks.
- Analytical and structured problem-solving ability; experience presenting to senior leadership or executive audiences.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills; Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related discipline.
- MBA, master’s degree, finance qualification, or project-management certification is advantageous; GCC experience is preferred.
- Hospitality, tourism, leisure, attractions, consumer businesses, retail, consulting, or other multi-business experience is advantageous.
