Associate opportunity supporting senior investment leadership at an investment organisation in Abu Dhabi across strategy, asset allocation, and strategic planning.
Relevant background
- The role may suit a management consultant from an MBB or top-tier strategy firm who has advised sovereign wealth funds or investment firms on asset allocation.
- Alternatively, candidates may come from investment strategy, strategic asset allocation, or multi-asset portfolio roles at a sovereign wealth fund, pension fund, institutional asset manager, or large investment organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Support strategic planning and asset allocation across multi-asset investment portfolios.
- Monitor portfolio exposures, capital allocation, and rebalancing activities.
- Work with investment teams on portfolio performance, risk, and liquidity.
- Support investment governance and strategic consulting projects.
- Support senior leadership reporting.
Requirements
- Ideally, 4+ years of experience in strategy consulting, investment strategy, or asset management.
- Experience advising sovereign wealth funds or large institutional investors, ideally on asset allocation strategies.
- Strong analytical, financial modelling, and stakeholder management skills.
- Exposure to portfolio strategy, investment planning, or asset allocation.
- Must currently be based in the UAE with UAE experience and be open to relocating to Abu Dhabi.
