Role Overview
Our client is growing its financial crime and compliance consulting practice in Riyadh and is seeking an Associate Director to help build and scale the team.
This is a senior, client-facing role combining technical financial crime expertise with business development responsibility.
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
What You Will Do
- Run and manage the existing portfolio from day one.
- Build a pipeline of new business within 2-3 months.
- Convert the pipeline into active projects within 6 months.
- Develop and own a full client portfolio within 9 months.
- Own the full business cycle from sales through delivery, collections, and repeat sales.
- Engage in business development, including cross-selling to the wider market.
- Support the growth of the team and wider practice.
What We Are Looking For
- Has 12-18 years of experience.
- Has at least 10 years of experience in financial crime and compliance.
- Has experience with transaction monitoring.
- Has experience with sanctions screening.
- Has experience with financial crime risk assessment.
- Has experience using AI to solve financial crime challenges.
- Has experience with KYC remediation.
- Has experience with data analytics.
- Has simple and articulate communication skills.
- Has a techno-functional skill set (not purely broad financial crime generalist).
- Has exposure to business development, including cross-selling to the wider market.
- Has a consulting background.

- Has a track record of proving themselves in this market.
- Is a leader in the making.
- Is not required to be a career banker.
