Qualifications
- Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or similar discipline and a minimum of 5-8 years related experience in strategic sourcing, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, field operations and/or project management. Strategic Sourcing training and practical Strategic Sourcing experience. Very good Technical-Commercial knowledge and aptitude to support the Strategic Sourcing Team with Technical Sourcing requests: understand and interpret technical documents (drawings, requirements, specifications...) to develop Strategic Sourcing solutions and effectively communicate with Technical stakeholders. Supervisory experience to lead a small team up to 5 to 7 team members. SAP knowledge is preferred. Intermediate Microsoft Excel (i.e. Pivot Tables, Look-up Functions, Graphs...), Word and Power Point knowledge needed. Technical education (i.e. Industrial Engineering, Engineering or similar) is preferred. Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs.
