Storekeeper (FMCG & Manufacturing)

Role summary

Inventory and warehouse operations

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes.
• Store raw materials, packaging materials, chemicals, and spare parts according to requirements.
• Issue materials to production departments against approved material requisitions.
• Maintain inventory transactions and records in the company ERP system and monitor stock accuracy.
• Apply FIFO and FEFO principles where applicable; conduct stock counts and assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual audits.
• Identify and report shortages, discrepancies, damaged goods, and slow-moving items.
• Keep storage areas clean and organized; support material flow to production.
• Coordinate loading, unloading, and storage using proper handling procedures.

Coordination and compliance

• Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Logistics, and Finance; communicate with suppliers, delivery drivers, and transport companies when required.
• Assist management with inventory reporting and stock reconciliation.
• Follow company safety policies, hygiene standards, warehouse procedures, and health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Handle and store chemicals and hazardous materials safely; support housekeeping and warehouse safety initiatives.

Qualifications and experience

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• At least 2–4 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or storekeeping.
• A diploma or certification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, or a related field is an advantage.
• Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, factory, or production environments is highly preferred.
• Experience using ERP systems and inventory management software is an advantage.

Work location

• Work is in person in a warehouse and factory environment.
