Responsibilities
- Inspect and repair building facilities and equipment, perform scheduled preventive maintenance, and respond to emergencies.
- Service, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems; monitor system performance and energy efficiency.
- Install and repair electrical wiring, lighting, switches, sockets, and distribution panels; resolve electrical faults.
- Maintain water supply and drainage systems; install fixtures and repair leaks and blockages.
- Repair doors, cabinets, furniture, partitions, and wooden fixtures; perform minor fabrication and finishing.
- Carry out minor masonry, tiling, plastering, painting, concrete repair, renovation, and refurbishment tasks.
- Repair washing machines, cooking ranges, ovens, and water heaters, then test completed repairs.
- Maintain tools and spare parts; prepare service records and periodic reports and communicate findings to supervisors.
Qualifications and requirements
- Technical diploma or trade certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of building maintenance and facilities management experience.
- Proven multi-trade maintenance experience and experience repairing washing machines, cooking ranges, and water heaters.
- Ability to troubleshoot, read technical manuals, drawings, and schematics, and prepare maintenance reports.
- Good written and spoken English and knowledge of workplace safety standards and procedures.
- Able to lift and carry equipment and work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying weather conditions.
- Comprehensive experience across the listed trades and appliance repairs is highly preferred.
Pay
- Pay starts at QAR 2,000 per month.
