Role overview

Inventory and stock control

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods and materials; verify quantities and condition against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Store goods in designated locations and maintain accurate inventory records and stock documentation.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment; conduct physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Identify and report damaged, missing, or excess stock; rotate stock and prevent inventory losses.

Storage and distribution

• Organize goods to maximize storage space and accessibility, and handle and store materials safely to prevent damage or loss.
• Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety in the storage area and follow appropriate storage and handling procedures.
• Process material requests and requisitions; prepare, pack, and issue goods accurately and efficiently.
• Record outgoing materials, returns, and stock transfers, and coordinate timely distribution with relevant departments.

Documentation, systems, and coordination

• Maintain records of receipts, issuances, transfers, and returns; prepare inventory reports and report discrepancies to management.
• Maintain delivery notes, stock transfer forms, and other inventory documents, and update inventory systems regularly.
• Use inventory software and computer systems to track stock movements; operate stock-handling equipment when required and authorized.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, sales, and other departments on stock requirements, availability, shortages, and discrepancies.
• Support daily warehouse and store operations as required.

Qualifications and requirements

• Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar inventory or warehouse role.
• Knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and warehouse procedures.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping; good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving goods when required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.
• Flexibility to work shifts and occasional overtime when required.

Employment and pay

• Job type is full-time.
• Pay is AED 1,800–2,500 per month.
