Storekeeper

Role summary

Inventory and stock control

• Receive, inspect, record, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Store goods in designated locations and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Monitor stock, coordinate replenishment, conduct physical counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Report damaged, missing, or excess stock; rotate inventory and help prevent losses.

Storage, issuing, and distribution

• Organize storage for accessibility and safe handling, and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
• Process material requests, prepare and issue goods, and record outgoing materials, returns, and transfers.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to support timely distribution.

Documentation and systems

• Prepare inventory reports and maintain records, delivery notes, stock transfer forms, and related documents.
• Update inventory systems and operate stock-handling equipment when required and authorized.

Safety and coordination

• Follow inventory, storage, company, and workplace safety procedures.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, sales, and other departments about stock requirements and discrepancies.
• Support daily warehouse and store operations.

Qualifications and requirements

• Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar inventory or warehouse role.
• Knowledge of inventory management, stock control, warehouse procedures, and workplace health and safety.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Strong attention to detail, accurate record-keeping, organization, and time management.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and move goods when required; flexibility to work shifts and occasional overtime.

Pay

• AED 1,800–2,500 per month.
