Role overview

Store operations and sales

• Maintain standards for visual merchandising, stock availability, customer service, and safety; preserve brand integrity through standardized displays.
• Implement delivery plans and stock-security procedures; coordinate stock turnover and ordering with merchandising and buying teams.
• Keep IT systems operating smoothly and register or renew necessary permits and licenses.
• Plan and account for store sales and profits, review monthly P&L reports, and develop marketing and promotional plans.
• Manage product ordering, receiving, pricing, and damaged or returned products; conduct daily floor walks and coach staff.
• Use the Working Week Framework to plan and execute operations.

Customer service and people

• Train employees in customer service; monitor customer behavior and feedback and identify service improvements through customer research.
• Benchmark store sales growth and analyze competitor performance with the management team; coordinate actions with the Regional Manager.
• Hire, train, and develop employees; maintain a training calendar and ensure adequate staffing.
• Motivate, support, and evaluate staff; follow HR and health and safety procedures and develop succession plans.

Financial management

• Manage sales, manpower, and expenses; prepare annual budgets with the Area Manager.
• Ensure timely financial reports and oversee invoices, credit notes, and petty cash.

Qualifications and skills

• Graduate degree required.
• At least eight years of retail and wholesale experience; premium fashion brand experience is essential.
• Strong leadership, team management, financial management, and budgeting capabilities.
• Expertise in visual merchandising and stock management, with strong customer service and sales capabilities.
• Able to meet targets and manage KPIs; demonstrates commercial acumen, customer focus, critical thinking, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills.
