Job summary

Development responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications and websites using the MERN stack.
• Build reusable, responsive UI components using React, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, and Material UI.
• Create and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js and Express.
• Design and optimize MongoDB collections, queries, and performance.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and third-party services.

Deployment and collaboration

• Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on AWS as project needs require.
• Use Git for version control and collaborate through code reviews and branching strategies.
• Debug, test, and optimize performance across browsers and devices.
• Follow secure coding practices and ensure application stability and scalability.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and project managers to deliver production-ready features.

Required qualifications

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript ES6+ and the MERN stack: React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, Material UI, or similar UI libraries.
• Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• A problem-solving mindset with attention to performance and clean code.
• The title identifies the role as seeking a Tagalog speaker.

Preferred experience

• 3+ years of professional full-stack development experience is listed as preferred.
• Familiarity with AWS deployment, hosting, storage, or CDN services is requested.
• React Native experience is a bonus.
• TypeScript, Next.js, Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Docker, and CI/CD experience are bonus skills.

Pay

• Pay is up to AED 5,500 per month.
